Nose

Golden raisin, cinnamon, baked lemon and refreshing juniper — raisin, orange, cardamom and jasmine with golden straw colour

Palate

Rich and lush with almond, cinnamon and nutmeg — candied lemon zest, anise with sweet-bitter profile, almost rum-like sweetness from the toasted aged sugar

Finish

Floral, spicy and woody — violet, angelica and liquorice with excellent aromatic tension on ripe fruit

Citadelle Reserve gin sweetened with toasted brown sugar that was first aged in former spirit barrels — then aged a further four months in cask. Sweet, bold, almost rum-like. Extremely ambitious.
