Palate

Clean and characterful classic London Dry — attractive parma violet orris, rooty liquorice, zesty citrus and enlivening black peppery spice, the seven botanicals in precise balance

Finish

Expert Review

8/10

Seven botanicals, single-shot distilled in Jennifer and Clarissa (named after the Two Fat Ladies) — the first gin made in the City of London in nearly 200 years, since the Gin Craze laws shut down Square Mile distilling. Jonathan Clark bought the Bride Lane freehold in 1997; he'd washed dishes at the same address as a teenager in 1967. Pungent piney juniper with zesty pink grapefruit on the nose, clean and characterful with parma violet orris on the palate.
