Expert Review
8/10Seven botanicals, single-shot distilled in Jennifer and Clarissa (named after the Two Fat Ladies) — the first gin made in the City of London in nearly 200 years, since the Gin Craze laws shut down Square Mile distilling. Jonathan Clark bought the Bride Lane freehold in 1997; he'd washed dishes at the same address as a teenager in 1967. Pungent piney juniper with zesty pink grapefruit on the nose, clean and characterful with parma violet orris on the palate.
