Orange and basil might sound unusual but it absolutely works. The herbaceous basil keeps the citrus honest and the London Dry base provides a solid juniper backbone. Really well thought out.

The orange and basil flavours are pleasant but at 40% ABV they feel a bit thin. I'd love to taste this at a higher strength where those botanicals could really express themselves. Good but not great.

Pour this over ice with good tonic and a sprig of fresh basil and you've got perfection. The orange is bright and genuine, the basil is aromatic and peppery. Edinburgh consistently impress me.
