Tasting Notes

Nose

Pine and angelica root with broad green terpey character — almost smelling fresh juniper branches, boughs and needles, with floral citrus blossom and fragrant pepper

Palate

Zesty orange and pomelo easing into broad green juniper — oily and intense with prominent juniper, earthy undertones, finger lime, lemon sorbet, candied yuzu and mandarin orange

Finish

Earthy angelica colouring the durable glow of juniper berry — pleasant pepper berry warmth, nutty slightly earthy character with slick glycerol texture and juniper bitterness on a grassy herbal close

The triple juniper concept is clever but it does make for a somewhat one-dimensional drinking experience. It's all juniper, all the time. Beautifully made at 43%, but I crave more botanical variety.

Never Never have created the ultimate juniper expression. Three different juniper treatments give this London Dry an incredible depth and resinous complexity. At 43% it's absolutely glorious.

Never Never have really understood what gin lovers want. The triple juniper approach is inspired and the execution is flawless. At 43% it's a London Dry that could convert even gin sceptics.
