First Impressions
Etsu Double Yuzu amplifies the Japanese citrus fruit that defined the original — seven days of maceration with double yuzu alongside matcha, sansho pepper and traditional botanicals. From Asahikawa on Hokkaido Island.
Tasting
The nose shows prominent yuzu with tart citrus and green tea. On the palate, yuzu leads with green tea, pepper and lime — smooth with cool dry texture and coriander bitterness. The finish is complex with flavours interplaying.
The Bottom Line
Etsu Double Yuzu earns a 7 for maximum Japanese citrus expression. The doubled yuzu creates intense tart-sweet character, and the matcha adds depth. Best with cloudy lemonade or in a Yuzu Sour cocktail.
