Excellent at 45%

The 45% ABV gives this London Dry real body and presence. The juniper is properly assertive and the botanicals have weight. Hibernation Gin is a step above your standard London Dry.

Cosy gin perfection

At 45% this London Dry wraps around you like a warm blanket. The juniper is assertive, the botanicals are warming, and the finish is long and satisfying. Perfect by the fire on a winter evening. The name is perfectly chosen.

Strong and characterful

At 45% this London Dry has more presence than many competitors. The juniper backbone is solid and the botanical balance is well-judged. Hibernation Gin is a characterful spirit that rewards attention.

Warming winter character

The name suggests something for cold evenings and the gin delivers. At 45% this London Dry has proper warmth and weight. The juniper is bold and the overall profile is comforting. A gin for the darker months.

A gin for all seasons

Hibernation Gin at 45% is brilliant year-round but truly excels in winter. This London Dry has warmth, depth, and character in abundance — the juniper is bold, the botanicals are generous, and the finish goes on and on. A gin that makes you want to slow down and savour every sip. Exceptional.

My cold-weather favourite

When the temperature drops, Hibernation is my first reach. At 45% it's warming and bold, with a London Dry profile that's comforting without being heavy. The long finish is deeply satisfying.

Name is more exciting than the gin

Hibernation Gin at 45% is a competent London Dry, but the evocative name sets up expectations the liquid doesn't quite meet. I wanted something warm, cosy, and spice-laden — what I got was a fairly standard juniper-led gin. Well-made but the branding oversells it.
