First Impressions

Martin Miller's is distilled in English pot stills then shipped to Iceland for blending with pure Icelandic spring water — one of the cleanest water sources on earth. A cucumber distillate is added post-distillation. This unique process gives the gin a silky smooth texture that is immediately distinctive.

The Bottom Line

Martin Miller's Original earns an 8 for the best all-around readily available gin at a reasonable price. The Icelandic water adds genuine purity and smoothness, and the cucumber provides a contemporary twist on the London Dry foundation. At around £24, extraordinary value for the quality.
