Good but Showing Its Age

There's genuine quality here and the 45% ABV still carries the botanicals well, but time has softened some of the edges. The juniper remains but the citrus brightness has faded somewhat.

Gin History in a Bottle

This 1970s Nicholson is absolutely magnificent. The London Dry character is pristine — bold juniper, complex spice, and a dry elegance at 45% that modern distillers would kill to achieve. Extraordinary.

Outstanding Vintage London Dry

This 1970s Nicholson bottling is a real treat. The London Dry style is executed with a purity and directness that modern gins often lack. At 45% it has genuine presence and authority.

Worth the Hunt

Finding a 1970s Nicholson is getting harder, but it's worth the effort. The London Dry style is impeccable — dry, aromatic, and full-bodied at 45%. A collector's gin.

Vintage Gin at Its Best

A beautifully preserved piece of gin history. The London Dry profile is robust and juniper-forward at 45%, with a depth and complexity that only decades of maturation in glass can bring.

Classic 70s Character

Nicholson was a serious name in gin and this 1970s bottling shows why. Rich juniper, earthy root notes, and a dry finish. The 45% ABV gives it lovely weight.

Proper Old-School Gin

This is what London Dry gin tasted like before the craft revolution. Pure, honest, juniper-driven spirit at a solid 45%. No gimmicks, just quality.
