Stunning barrel-aged expression

The barrel ageing adds a gorgeous golden colour and smooth vanilla-oak character to the already interesting Shanghai botanical profile. At 45.7% this is a proper sipper. Outstanding stuff.

Best barrel-aged gin I have tried

Peddlers has absolutely nailed this. The combination of Eastern botanicals with careful barrel ageing creates something truly special. At 45.7% every sip reveals new layers. A masterpiece of the barrel-aged category.

Great after-dinner gin

This works brilliantly as a digestif. The barrel ageing gives it a richness and depth you do not get from standard gins. Shanghai meets Scotland in the most delightful way.

Interesting but niche

This barrel-aged gin from Shanghai is certainly unique, but the oak influence might be a bit heavy for those who prefer a more traditional gin profile. At 45.7% it is closer to whisky territory at times.

Chinese botanicals plus oak

A really interesting barrel-aged gin with distinctive Eastern spice notes. The oak mellows everything beautifully. Unusual and well-crafted at a punchy 45.7%.

A revelation in aged gin

I am a big fan of barrel-aged gins and Peddlers is right up there with the best. The Shanghai botanicals add an exotic twist to the oak-aged spirit. Complex, warming, and completely moreish at 45.7%.

East meets West in a barrel

Peddlers brings Shanghai flair to barrel-aged gin. At 45.7% it has a lovely warming quality with Eastern botanicals meeting oak barrel character. Genuinely different and thoroughly enjoyable.
