Tasting
The nose shows sweet berries with spicier nasturtium — autumnal comfort of toffee apples. On the palate, hedgerow fruits with raspberry and strawberry, zippy citrus and dense juniper. The finish is earthy with lingering berry.
The Bottom Line
Rock Rose Autumn earns an 8 for the most autumnal gin in the seasonal range. The Vietnamese coriander and nasturtium from the geodome add warmth that local foraged berries alone cannot achieve. The changing of seasons in a glass from Scotland's most northerly mainland distillery.
