Stornoway is the first gin ever distilled on the Isle of Lewis — founded by island natives David & Karen, inspired by the iconic Lews Castle across Stornoway harbour. Heather and gorse foraged locally alongside cubeb and cassia. Silver at London Spirits Competition.
Tasting
The nose is lively citrus with heather-gorse florals. On the palate, cubeb pepper lift with cassia warmth, island florals and Hebridean water texture. The finish is long, dry and welcoming.
