Tanqueray No.Ten Gin
London Dry 47.3% ABVWorth Every Penny
Tanqueray No. Ten proves that big brands can still innovate. The fresh whole-citrus distillation gives it a vibrancy that dried-peel gins simply can't match. At 47.3% it's a powerhouse. Absolutely love it.
The Superior Tanqueray
No. Ten is a significant step up from the already-excellent original. The fresh citrus character is vibrant and the 47.3% ABV gives it tremendous body and presence. A London Dry that punches well above its price point.
Citrus Perfection
The whole fresh citrus approach really works. You can taste the difference that fresh fruit makes versus dried peel. Juniper is still front and centre but the citrus brightness at 47.3% is superb.
Simply the Best
No. Ten is, for me, the finest widely available London Dry gin on the market. The 47.3% ABV, the fresh citrus, the clean juniper backbone — everything is in perfect harmony. A desert island gin if ever there was one.
Good But Overhyped
It's a very good London Dry, no question, but the premium price tag sets expectations high. At 47.3% it's nicely weighted, but the citrus can be a bit aggressive for my taste. I still prefer the original Tanqueray for a classic G&T.
Benchmark London Dry
If someone asks me what a premium London Dry should taste like, I hand them a glass of No. Ten. Bold juniper, vibrant fresh citrus, perfect strength at 47.3%, and a long satisfying finish. Exceptional.
Brilliant in a Martini
No. Ten was practically designed for a Martini and it absolutely excels. The clean juniper is assertive, the chamomile adds a subtle floral note, and at 47.3% it can stand up to any vermouth.
