Tasting Notes

Nose

Classic and fresh — juniper and citrus, clean and inviting, the 263-year-old recipe immediately recognisable as proper London Dry

Palate

Soft juniper dominating — citrus zest brightness, mild liquorice underneath, angelica earthiness, cassia warmth, smooth and crisp, the definition of an everyday London Dry

Finish

Well-rounded — citrus and earthy spice, juniper fading gently, clean and honest, a gin that has earned its place through consistency over centuries

Expert Review

7/10

Britain's oldest distilling company — G&J Greenall has been distilling in Warrington since 1761 using the same London Dry method. Eight botanicals under Master Distiller Joanne Moore. A smooth, crisp, easy-going gin that works beautifully as a mixer. 263 years and counting.
