Tasting Notes

Nose

Intense cardamom and ginger — toasted cumin seed and curry powder underneath, fragrant and sweet cardamom dominating

Palate

Dry coriander and cardamom first, then juniper, finally peppery with black pepper, cubeb and coriander — strong cumin with ginger and a trace of citrus, a spice market in a glass

Finish

Soft camphor with sweetness — Oriental spices creating warm mouthfeel that lingers without increasing intensity

Expert Review

7/10

A sledgehammer of spice — Indonesian cubeb berries, Tanzanian cardamom, Indian Tellicherry pepper and Moroccan coriander. Intensely Oriental with cumin, ginger and warm camphor. Polarising but bold. Named for the biblical land of riches.
