Tasting
The nose is vibrant with summer fruits, zesty lemon peel and luscious elderflower. On the palate, spicy coriander and peppercorn mellow to reveal tart berries, floral rose and zesty citrus. The finish is juicy berries with lingering sweet spices.
The Bottom Line
Ben Lomond Raspberry & Elderflower earns a 7 for a fruit gin from a serious distillery. The Double Gold base ensures proper juniper backbone, and the berry-elderflower combination is well-judged. At around £22, tremendous value with a Gold medal to prove it.
