7/10

Whitley Neill Blood Orange Gin is a well-made flavoured gin that balances genuine juniper backbone with sweet-bitter citrus character — a reliable all-rounder at 43% ABV, even if it plays things a little safe.

Jason Steel VIPsAllowed — Negroni Heaven
9/10

This gin was born for a Negroni. The blood orange amplifies the Campari, the juniper holds its own against sweet vermouth, and at 43% ABV it's got enough backbone. The bittersweet finish is extraordinary.

The blood orange is certainly vivid but it dominates the other botanicals at 43%. The cassia bark and coriander are barely perceptible beneath the citrus. Well made for a flavoured gin but I miss the complexity.

8/10

The blood orange is genuine and vivid — nothing artificial about it. The angelica root and coriander provide earthy depth while the cassia bark adds gentle spice. At 43% it's a well-structured flavoured gin.
