England's Finest Gin

Plymouth is, quite simply, a perfect gin. The protected style delivers rounded juniper, fresh citrus, earthy angelica, and superb botanical integration. The silky texture at 41.2% is unmatched. Every gin lover should have a bottle.

Protected Style Perfection

Plymouth Gin has its own geographical indication and you can taste why. The rounded juniper, fresh lemon-orange citrus, and subtle earthiness create something uniquely balanced. At 41.2% the silky texture is beautiful.

The Navy's Choice

There's a reason the Royal Navy chose Plymouth Gin. The superb botanical integration means everything works in harmony — juniper, coriander, orange peel, lemon peel, angelica root. At 41.2% ABV, the medium-long finish is clean and gently sweet.

Beautiful Silky Texture

The mouthfeel of Plymouth is what sets it apart. Full and silky with gentle juniper structure, bright citrus, and warm spice. The coriander adds a subtle peppery note. Lovely at 41.2%.

A Touch Too Mild

Plymouth is well made but at 41.2% ABV it can feel a bit gentle for my taste. The rounded juniper and soft citrus are pleasant but I miss the assertiveness of a higher-proof gin. Smooth but slightly lacking in intensity.

Gin History in a Glass

One of the oldest gin distilleries in England, and the quality shows. Rounded juniper, balanced citrus, soft cardamom warmth. The medium-long finish is clean with gentle sweetness. Plymouth is a gin institution.

Softer Than London Dry

Plymouth's style is gentler and more rounded than a London Dry. The juniper is present but not aggressive, the citrus is fresh, and there's a trace of cardamom warmth. At 41.2% it's supremely smooth.
