Slingsby Yorkshire Rhubarb uses rhubarb from the famous Rhubarb Triangle in West Yorkshire, infused into their 24-botanical London Dry base with Harrogate aquifer water. Considered one of the best rhubarb gins available.
Tasting
The nose shows sweet rhubarb with juniper and grapefruit. On the palate, Yorkshire rhubarb and raspberry sweetness with bitter grapefruit tang. The finish is tart rhubarb.
The Bottom Line
Slingsby Rhubarb earns a 7 for Yorkshire rhubarb gin done properly. The Rhubarb Triangle provenance and grapefruit base create a balanced fruit gin. Best with ginger ale, raspberries and mint.
